When darkness
Begins to fall,
What then shall we do?
Will we rage against
The dying of the light,
Or fade into oblivion?
When the light has been
extinguished,
Will we succumb
To the nothingness
that awaits.
Is it fear or apathy?
What stills our hands,
Resigning our future
To the encroaching
Darkness?
